STAY STRONG FITNESS: TOTAL BODY FOR AGES 50+
LOW IMPACT CARDIO, FUNCTIONAL TRAINING MOVEMENTS, STRETCHING, CORE & BACK STRENGTHENING
STAY STRONG FITNESS : TOTAL BODY IS A CLASS THAT I HAVE CREATED FOR THOSE IN THEIR SECOND ACT OF LIFE (AGES 50+), and is DESIGNED FOR A BEGINNER TO INTERMEDIATE LEVEL. This class is a high calorie burning class. I demonstrate modifications and progressions of exercises for different fitness levels. I aim to keep you strong safely.
This class will RAISE your heart rate, keep you limber and strong, strengthen your core and back, AS WELL AS HELP WITH YOUR BALANCE. We will do low impact cardio movements combined with functional training movements (no weights) to keep our heart and body strong. We will also do modified speed and agility training, core and back strengthening, and balance work. core and back strengthening and stretching is done standing and on the mat. If you are not comfortable getting on the mat, I will provide other options standing or in the chair.
This class is a dose of what your body needs on a daily basis, and it is a great total body workout. this class is safe to do combined with a strength training routine you might already have in place.
