Know your sparkle. Embrace your sparkle. Share your sparkle with others.

I believe in you! This might sound corny but I genuinely believe in building and lifting others up! This is where it’s at!! I say this all the time. There are many philosophies that speak to me in how I approach my day, but one general frame of mind I embrace daily is to be kind and to help build others up.

*

What motivates you and lights you up? What makes you genuinely happy? For the most part, are you going through your day / life with a sense of purpose? What are your strengths? Can you share your strengths with others to help them be the best they can be?

*

If you don’t know the answers to these questions, YOU ARE NOT ALONE! But, it’s never too late to be searching for the answers to these questions in my opinion. : )

*

I am 51 and in my late 40s I was asking myself all these questions. My daughter knew I was struggling to try and figure out my next steps towards “reinventing” myself in the workforce in my 2nd act of life, and she told me this: “Mom, why don’t you do what you did for me and my two brothers. Why don’t you help people be the best they can be?”. I will never forget that she said this to me, and it meant so much to me as a mom. I always did try and encourage my 3 very different kids to embrace their individual strengths, and to use these strengths in their life to be the best they can be. Of course, maximizing on your strengths in life is a work in progress for all.

Everyone has strengths that are special to their unique self. Sometimes we need to remind ourselves what those strengths are, and then we need to learn to love and embrace them, and share them with others. I feel as if sometimes, we lose sight of what makes us sparkle and shine. Life gets hectic and as we age more and more gets piled on our very full plate.

*

If you are already sharing your unique “sparkle” with others, kudos to you! Keep shining on! If you’re not sure what your purpose is, or what makes you sparkle, try writing down your strengths and things you might like to accomplish on a piece of paper. This is a therapeutic process that might help to clarify some things for yourself.

*

Then tell yourself this: “I love my sparkle, I embrace my sparkle and I will try and share my sparkle with others”.

*

As I grow and change in my life’s journey, my purpose will shift, but right now my purpose is to motivate, encourage, and help to make others physically and mentally strong through fitness.

*

I believe in building others up and I use my love of fitness to help me accomplish this in my work. I truly love helping others succeed!

*

What motivates and lights you up? What are your strengths?

Ask yourself these questions, and sparkle and shine!

I believe in you!
